Life presents us with various opportunities and challenges, some of which are mere discoveries, while others bring us to a crossroads and force us to make decisions.
I was born and raised in a very individualistic society, which in turn has influenced the individualistic frame of mind I have today. I have learned to internalize nearly everything, and to face life on my own accord. Thus, while traveling down life's various paths I have seen and done much. I have been observant, and have made new discoveries about others and myself. But, in actuality, my days on earth have been a journey of self-discovery. Unfortunately, it is only on occasion that I take the time to reflect on life, and realize who I was and who I am becoming. This entry is a reflection on such realizations.
I was raised with an understanding of Christ's existence, however; it was not until I was much older that I became a Christian, and I was a passionate and faithful follower. Life has not always been easy, yet I have always managed to find a means of survival. In past years I have relied on God, self, and others to solve my problems, both those that I have stumble upon and those that I have created. Some have been easier than others to overcome, but it is a learning process.
